--January 18, 2007: Voices Foundation established as a nonprofit corporation.
--March 26, 2007: Awarded California state income tax exemption.
--May 22, 2007: Application for federal tax exemption that was submitted to IRS 03-06-2007 is approved (see a copy of IRS letter). Donations are fully tax-deductible, retroactive to January 18, 2007.
All donations are used for scholarship support that allows financially disadvantaged high school students to participate in debate.
All of our staff are volunteers; our overhead costs are minimal.
